If life is getting you down and you are lacking funds to work with other people on your self development then try these techniques at home. As with everything it’s doing them consistently that makes the biggest difference, but even doing Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping once will make you feel better because it eliminates stagnant energy from your electromagnetic energy field (Aura) and gets your life force or Chi moving again.
NUMBER ONE – EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT)
First of all, Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). This is something which starts working straight away.
I\’ve been using this for a couple of years and it\’s just been amazing for my life and business, but then I started to explore it and I understood or began to understand that we are made of energy. And for me, this is how tapping works because tapping works on tapping different parts of your body, your energy centers and allowing stagnating or trapped energy to start flowing again around your body.
There is a school of thought that says that depression is actually trapped or stuck stagnating energy in your body. And because we are made of energy and energy ebbs and flows and needs to ebb and flow, it makes sense that we need to ebb and flow as well. So if we get any energy blockages or stagnating stuck energy, then we\’re going to start to feel stuck and stagnating as well.
As you start to tap on the different parts of your body, you\’ll find that you\’ll start to get more clarity about things. You\’ll start to get more sort of aha moments. You\’ll feel a lot less depressed, a lot less anxious. It can even eliminate depression in some people. It can make you feel more confident. It\’s something that you could do before a meeting or something. It definitely reduces stress levels. It definitely helps you to feel happier.
But I think the main thing is, because the energy is starting to flow around your body again, it’s just leaving you feeling more vibrant, more fresh and clear, about where you\’re going and maybe why you\’re going there.
NUMBER TWO – JOURNALING
And then that leads us on to the second one, which is journaling. And this is amazing for understanding more about yourself because we have an energy field around us. And in this energy field, it is filled with information about you.
The thing is it\’s very hard to access this information by ourselves because we\’re sitting inside it. And it\’s actually much easier for people to see information about us than it is for us to see it ourselves. However, when you do journaling, what you\’re essentially doing is getting all of this down onto paper, so you\’re getting all of your thoughts down and you can do journaling like a free flow journaling or you can do it like you can ask yourself specific questions as well and these two methods can just work so well.
For example, if I wanted to understand, what\’s the meaning of my life? Why am I here? What am I here to do? Which is one of the most searched terms on Google around next to who am I?. So you could write down at the top of a sheet of paper, you can write down, why am I here?
Then you literally just free flow and let your hand write, just dump everything down onto the paper. And you\’ll be amazed at what comes out. You\’ll see some real pearls of wisdom come out and actually you\’ll start to think, my God, did I come up with that? Did that come from me? Did I write that? And you really will start to see some pure wisdom.
Another way of doing it is to just, free flow, you could start off by writing about your day and then just see where it goes, where your hand takes you. And this is why journaling at night before you go to bed is really good therapy because it will help you to sleep better. You won\’t have all these sorts of questions flying around in your head. You\’ll be able to really get everything out of your head so that you can sleep much more soundly.
NUMBER THREE – MEDITATING
That leads us on to the third one, which is meditating. And this is something which I have such a problem trying to convince people to do because we just, do not want to sit still and just sit with our own thoughts. I even have friends who cannot have any silence at all. They either have to have the TV or the radio or music on. They\’ve never been just silent in their own head. And because of this, we\’re missing the huge wisdom of going inside ourselves. And this, I think, is contributing a lot to increasing depression. And I think this is because we\’re just not living in the way that we are actually designed to live in. So meditating is one of those areas that can really help us to go inside ourselves, to understand more about ourselves and I think to feel happier and to feel more fulfilled with our lives. I think going inside, I need to meditate every single day. Otherwise I do start to feel myself spiraling back down again. But I understand that meditating is hard. So what I highly recommend you do is use a guided meditation, where you can be guided through your own mind by someone else, so you have a voice to focus on.
NUMBER FOUR – VISUALISATION TECHNIQUE
The next one is my visualization technique, which is what I call positive feeling. This is when I started to visualize and remember the happiest day of my life, and by remembering the happiest day of my life, I started to notice that I was feeling it in my heart. So I couldn\’t remember to think positively because I had so much on my plate with young children and running a business. And then I began to understand that I didn\’t have to think positive thoughts. I just had to feel them because actually your mind and your body work together and you can change your own mind (called Neuroplasticity) by changing your emotional (energy) state. And that\’s what I did. It allowed me to move my whole state of being up a notch so that I could actually rewire my brain to a happier and more high vibrational way of being.
NUMBER FIVE – SETTING INTENTIONS OR BEING MORE INTENTIONAL
The next one is setting intentions. This is something that so many of us forget to do because we\’re running around like headless chickens. But actually when you set intentions, you\’ll be amazed at how quickly it can change your life because your mind directs your energy, and where your energy is directed, that is where you will end up. So if your energy is directed towards stewing about an argument you had last week, or worrying about how you\’re going to pay the rent next month, then that\’s where your energy has now gone. And you no longer have the energy in you to then create a new reality because setting intentions is creating a new reality. When we set intentions, we’re actually saying to our energy, that\’s what we want. And then you energetically start to gravitate towards it.
It literally switches on your Reticular Activating System (RAS) inside your own brain which then starts to ‘look’ for what you want. This is why when you buy a red car you suddenly start to see red cards everywhere, or a relationship ends and you see them everywhere. Your RAS is thinking about this, so this is what you start to manifest or attract to you.
NUMBER SIX – WRITING DOWN YOUR GOALS
The last one is writing down your goals. So setting intentions and writing down your goals are similar, but I wanted to split them apart because they, for me, they\’re both amazing in their own right. And writing down your goals is something which I heard from Brian Tracy first of all, and
I thought that it was just a way of rewiring your brain, which it is, absolutely. But then I understood more about energetics. I understood that when you are rewiring your brain, you\’re rewiring your subconscious mind. And we operate from the subconscious around 95 % of the time. We only operate from our Conscious mind around 5% of the time, so in order to change our life, we need to change our Subconscious mind.
As you start to write down your goals, you will then start to rewire your brain and set your RAS towards these goals. By the time you\’ve written them down seven times, you\’ll know what your goals are off by heart. So now you\’ve got them into your subconscious mind. By doing this you are now energetically halfway to them. Physical manifestation takes longer – for a variety of reasons – but energetically, we are there the second we think about them.
This of course is how manifesting works. It\’s what I call creating a new reality, creating your reality, which is the same thing as manifesting, but I come at it from a different angle. I come at it from the quantum physics and the neuroscience behind it. Because for me, this is what managed to convince me.
And this is a game changer!
It may be hard to get your head around how it works, but every time you decide on something, set an intention about something, you are energetically already there. And now you\’re going to get there faster. .
So that\’s my six tools, techniques that you can start incorporating today into your life. Just keep doing them as It takes between one to three months for neural pathways to change. But one day you will wake up and feel better. Life will feel better and you will be a different person. Because everything is made up of frequencies in our world, we have to change our own frequency, in order to change our life. It is not the world that changes around you. It is you that changes and then you start to attract a better or more aligned reality (life).
It’s quantum physics!
